CTIS Criccieth Tourist Information Service has been established to replace Criccieth Tourist Association
CTA which was a voluntary group that sadly fizzled out of existence through lack of support.
One or two members cannot legally constitute an association! Therefore Criccieth no longer supports its own tourist association or an information office to help its many guests or advise those yet to discover this peaceful little town...
So this web site and all other functions are now fulfilled by a former member of the CTA who feels Criccieth should at least retain a presence on the Internet and able to answer questions from around the world!
It remains CTIS policy not to recommend individual businesses nor is there a quality control mechanism in place. The contents and opinions expressed on this web site have not been subject to the scrutiny of any public or private body, but are based on information received from the former CTA and other sources. CTIS also reserves the right to exclude those who do not fulfil the aims and objectives of the former CTA or show disregard for their guests needs and expectations. CTIS honours the commitment to providing quality services at all times and expects information individuals provide to "not constitute an offence under the Trade Description Act 1968 or the Consumer Protection Act 1987".
